Nomura Masahide was a disciple of the Goto family and the sixth generation of the Nomura family, Masatsugu, whose founder was Nomura Masatoki. He was a skilled craftsman who specialized in the elaborate Nomura-style construction methods. He lived in Edo, Around the Kansei and Kyowa eras.
