The Yamato Shikkake school, whose founder was Norinaga around the late Kamakura period (1288), was a group of swordsmiths who were subordinate to Todaiji Temple, like the Tetsuwa school, and flourished into the Nanbokucho period.
This sword has deep Sori, Koshizori-tsuki, In its late Kamakura form as Chu-Kissaki. Itamehada, Mixed Mokume, Jinie entered fine and thickly with beautiful Jigane, Suguha-style, finely mixed with Small-Gunome, Hotsure, Uchinoke, Nijuba-kakari, Nie entered deeply, Kinsuji is bright and shining frequently, Nioikuchi is bright and clear and the quality is excellent.
