- 大和尻懸派は、鎌倉後期正応（1288年）頃の則長を祖とし、手搔派と同じく東大寺に隷属していた刀工群で、南北朝時代にかけて繁栄している。この刀は、反り深く、腰反り付き、中鋒となる鎌倉後期の姿で、板目肌に、杢目交じり、地沸微塵に厚くつく美しく冴えた地鉄に、直刃調に、細かく小互の目交じり、ほつれ・打ちのけ・二十刃掛り、沸深くつき、金筋が明るく頻りに輝き、匂口明るく出来が優れている。The Yamato Shikkake school, whose founder was Norinaga around the late Kamakura period (1288), was a group of swordsmiths who were subordinate to Todaiji Temple, like the Tetsuwa school, and flourished into the Nanbokucho period.
This sword has deep Sori, Koshizori-tsuki, In its late Kamakura form as Chu-Kissaki. Itamehada, Mixed Mokume, Jinie entered fine and thickly with beautiful Jigane, Suguha-style, finely mixed with Small-Gunome, Hotsure, Uchinoke, Nijuba-kakari, Nie entered deeply, Kinsuji is bright and shining frequently, Nioikuchi is bright and clear and the quality is excellent.
