The Fukuoka Ichimonji school reportedly started in the early Kamakura period with the Goban Kaji Norimune sect of Go-Tobain as the ancestor, and many good workers were produced in the middle of the Kamakura period. The reason why this group is called one letter is that Nakago has the letter "Ichi", but the inscription is only the letter "Ichi" and the other letters under the letter "Ichi". There are some that add inscriptions and some that only have individual inscriptions.
Among the Fukuoka Ichimonji, swordsmiths from the early Kamakura period, including Norimune, are called Ko-Ichimonji (Ko-Ichimonji). Sadazane was a swordsmith from the early Kamakura period, following Norimune, and his works are designated as Juyo-Bunkazai(Important Cultural Properties) and Juyo Bijyutsuhin(Important Art Objects).
This sword is a Tachi bearing the signature "Sadamune", with Koshizori-tsuki, Small-Kissaki, Midare-Utsuritatsu Jigane, Chouji-Midare, Gunome, Mixed Yubashiri, There are Ashi and You frequently, Small-Nie entered deep and frequently, Kinsuji and Sunagashi-kakaru, It works well in sword, Nioikuchi is bright and clear, This is a rare and excellent piece, with the inscription of Sadazane clearly visible.
