Drscription
The Fukuoka Ichimonji school is said to have started in the early Kamakura period with Norimune, the chief blacksmith of Gotobain, as the founder, and many excellent craftsmen were produced in the middle of the Kamakura period. The reason why this school is called Ichimonji is because the character `Ichi'' is cut on the stem. There are some that add an inscription, and some that only have an individual inscription.
This sword has Deep Sori, Koshizori-funbaritsuki, An elegant long sword(Tachi) made from Ubu-Nakago that has no Machi-Okuri that becomes Small-Kissaki. Midare-Utsuritatsu Jigane, Deep Yaki, Chouji-Midare, Gunome and Mixed Tobiyaki, There are many Ashi and You, Small-Nie entered deeply, Kinsuji-kakari, Nioikuchi is bright and clear. Among the early Kamakura Ko-Ichimonji, Yaki is deep and Chouji is gorgeous. It is a masterpiece that was the forerunner of the most gorgeous works of the mid-Kamakura period.
