- 大阪丹波守吉道は、初代京丹波守吉道の三男として慶長三年に生まれ、名を三品金右衛門といい、大坂に移住して大坂丹波の祖となった。作風は、お家芸である簾刃や菊水刃を得意としている。本作は、身幅3.3cmもある豪壮な姿で、小板目肌つみ、小杢目交じり、地沸が厚くつき、地景細かくよく入る精良で冴えた地鉄に、沸匂深く幾重にも縞掛り、匂口明るく、究極の簾刃を焼いた最高傑作である。The first Tanbanokami Yoshimichi in Osaka, whose name is Mishinakinemon, was born in the third year of Keicho as the third son of the first Kyoutanbanokami Yoshimichi, and moved to Osaka to become the ancestor of Ohsaka Tanba.
