- 伯耆安綱は、三条宗近などと並び、直刃から湾刀に移行した日本刀最初期の名工で、平安中期に活躍した。名物童子切安綱が名高い。貞綱は、安綱の孫と伝え、平安後期に活躍している。この刀は、身幅広く、腰反りつく生ぶ茎の作刀時の姿を留める太刀で、地沸微塵に厚くつき、地景頻りに入り、乱れ映り立ち、肌立つ地鉄に、焼き落としがあり、小乱れに互の目交じり、小足・葉よく入り、小沸がつき、金筋・砂流し掛り、匂口明るく冴える。Kohouki Yasutsuna, along with Sanjo Munechika and others, was one of the earliest master craftsmen of Japanese swords, He was one of the earliest master craftsmen of Japanese swords, who moved from Suguha to Wantou. He was active during the mid-Heian period, The famous Doji Kiri Yasutsuna is famous.Sadatsuna is said to be Yasutsuna's grandson and was active in the late Heian period.
