The Tegai faction is a group of swordsmiths who were enslaved to Todaiji Temple, and since they lived in front of the Todaiji Temple's Tegai Gate, they came to be called Tegai. It is said that Masamune Jittetsu's Kaneuji also belonged to the Tegai faction, saying that he was the ancestor of Kanenaga around the middle of the Kamakura period (1288).
Kaneyuki's name can be found in Kaneyuki, who is said to be the third son of the second Kanenaga around the Enbun period.It continues from the late Nanboku-cho period around Eiwa, the early Muromachi period around Ouei, and the early Muromachi period around Bunan.
This sword has slightly narrow Mihaba, Slightly deep Sori, Sakizori-tsuki, It has a well-balanced Ubu-Nakago appearance, Tsunda-Small-Itamehada and mixed Itame, Suguha-style, Mixed small-genome, Tobiyaki-kakari, Small-Ashi and You entered frequently, Kinsuji-kakari, The Jigane is very clear and the characteristics of the Tegai are well displayed.
