The first Nobukuni was the grandson of Ryokai and is said to have studied under Sosyu Sadamune, and the Nobukuni school prospered very much.
In the early Muromachi period, Sadamitsu, the son of the third Genzaemon, accepted an invitation from the Otomo and Usa clans and moved to Buzen with the Ryokai faction. Later, in the early Edo period, when the Kuroda clan ruled Chikuzen, he became a retainer of the Kuroda clan.
Yoshikane's real name was Sukezaemon, and he was active around the Kanbun period in the early Edo period.
