Tametsugu is said to be the son of Go Yoshihiro, who is considered the leading MasamuneJittetsu.
There are records dating from the Enbun to Ouan periods, and between Ouan 2 and 7, the area moved from Echizen to Mino, and together with Kaneuji and Kaneshige, it became the source of Mino blacksmithing.
This sword has a wide Mihaba, Deep Sori, Koshizori-tsuki, Wide Sakihaba, Slightly thick Kasane, The stately appearance of Chu-Kissaki, Itamehada, Mixed Mokumehada and blackish Jigane, Jinie entered thickly, Chikei entered finely and frequently, There are many Ashi and You.
