The first Tadakuni, whose name was Rokurozaemon Hashimoto, was born as the second son of Yoshiie, the younger brother of the first Tadayoshi, in the third year of the Keicho era. He died at the age of 94 in the 4th year of Genroku. The third Tadakuni was the grandson of the first and was active around the Kyoho era. He initially received the position of Harimadaijo and was later transferred to the position of Harimanokami.
