Drscription
Sanemitsu Osafune made swords in collaboration with Morimitsu, Sanemitsu, and Yasumitsu, and is thought to have been the middle of the three brothers, but perhaps because he life was short, very few swords were made.
These three craftsmen are called the Oei Sanko and are representative craftsmen of Oei Bizen, and are the official line of Osafune that continues from Mitsutada, Nagamitsu, Kagemitsu, Kanemitsu, Tomomitsu, and Moromitsu.
This sword is Sanemitsu's Ubu-Nakago Zaimei, a rare Tachi that dates back to the 12th year of Oei.
The so-called Oei-hada, Itamehada with Mixed Mokume has a slight amount of Jinie and Uruoi(moisturized), Midare-Utsuritatsu with beautiful Jigane, Bright Koshibiraki Gunome-yaki with a variety of Chouji-Midare, This is a masterpiece that Nioikuchi is bright and clear, with excellent work on the blade, such as the frequent use of Kinsuji and Sunagashi.
