The first Nobukuni was the grandson of Ryokai and is said to have studied under Masamune, and the Nobukuni school flourished during the late Muromachi period.
Nobukuni was the third of the Nobukuni clan during the late Nanbokucho period. His name was Magozaemon and he was known as Grandson Nobukuni. He produced works from the Kakei and Kouou periods, and they are designated as Juyo Bunkazai (Important Cultural Properties).
This sword has deep Sori, It has the graceful appearance of a Wazori Tachi. Itamehada and Mokumehada, Mixed Small-Mokumehada, Jinie entered fine and thick.
