- 姿Shape
- 鎬造、庵棟、身幅広く、反りやや深く、中鋒やや延びる。Shinogidukuri, Iorimune, Wide Mihaba, Slightly deep Sori, Chu-Kissaki slightly extended.
- 鍛Kitae
- 板目肌に、杢目肌交え、地沸微塵に厚くつき、地景入り、映りたつ。Itamehada, Mixed Mokumehada, Jinie entered fine and thick, Chikei entered, Utsuritatsu.
- 刃文Hamon
- 直刃調に、小互の目・小丁子交じり、足・葉よく入り、匂出来、小沸つき、金筋・砂流し細かく入り、匂深く、匂口明るい。Suguha-style, Small-Gunome, Mixed Small-Chouji, There are many Ashi and You well, Nioi-deki, Small-Nie-tsuki, Kinsuji and Sunagashi entered finely, Deep Nioi, Nioikuchi is bright.

- 南北朝末期の明徳二年（１３９１年）に祐定銘の最初の作刀が見られ、その後末備前と呼ばれる室町後期の長船鍛冶の中で最も繁栄した一家で、彦兵衛尉、与三左衛門尉、源兵衛尉などが上手である。永禄ごろは、二代与三左衛門尉が活躍している。
この刀は、身幅広く、反りやや深い姿のよい片手打ちで、淡く映りがたち肌立つ地鉄に、直刃調に、小互の目・丁子刃など交え、匂出来、小沸つき、細かく金筋・砂流しかかり、匂口明るく冴える典型作である。地刃冴え出来がよい年紀入りの名品である。The first sword of Yusada was seen in the second year of Meitoku (1391) at the end of the Nanbokucho period, and after that, it was the most prosperous family of Osafune blacksmiths in the late Muromachi period called Sue Bizen.Genbeinojou Hikobeejou Yosanzaemonnojou are good at it. Around Eiroku, the second generation Yosazaemonjou Sukesada was active.
This sword has wide Mihaba, Sori is a nice one-handed hit with a slightly deep shape. Faintly Utsuritachi Hadatachi Jitetsu, Suguha-style, Small-Gunome, Mixed Choujiba, Nioi-deki, Small-Nie-tsuki, Finely Kinsuji, Sunagashi-kakari, Nioikuchi is a bright and clear typical work, It is a classic masterpiece with Clear Jiba with the year stamped on it.
