- 氏房は、関兼房の子で、名を河村京三郎といい、初銘兼房、永禄十三年に若狭守を受領、銘を氏房と改め、元亀、天正頃に活躍した室町後期の美濃を代表する刀工である。織田家のお抱え鍛冶で。信長に従い、清州、岐阜、安土にて鍛刀している。
この刀は、長さ二尺六寸、身幅３.2cm、重量900gを超える中鋒延びる豪壮刀で、大小の沸が美しくつき、金筋・沸筋かかり、地刃がいかにも明るく覇気に溢れ出来が良い。生ぶ無銘であることから、信長の備えの刀の一振りであったと思われ、健全で目立つ傷もない名品である。古研。Ujifusa was the son of Kanefusa Seki, his name was Kyozaburo Kawamura, his first name was Kanefusa, he received the title of Wakasa no kami in 13th year of Eiroku, changed his name to Ujifusa, and was active in the late Muromachi period during the Motogame and Tensho eras. This sword is magnificent sword with 78.9cm and Mihaba 3.2cm, a weight of over 900. It has beautiful Nie of all size. Kinsuji and Niesuji-kakari, Jiba is so bright and full of ambition and the work is so good. Because it is Ubu-Mumei, It is believed to have been Nobunaga's prepared sword, and is a masterpiece with no noticeable scratches. Furutogi(Old sharpening).
