Ujifusa was the son of Kanefusa Seki, his name was Kyozaburo Kawamura, his first name was Kanefusa, he received the title of Wakasa no kami in 13th year of Eiroku, changed his name to Ujifusa, and was active in the late Muromachi period during the Motogame and Tensho eras. He is a representative swordsmith of Mino. He is the Oda family's personal blacksmith. He followed Nobunaga and forged swords in Seishu, Gifu, and Azuchi.
This sword is magnificent sword with 78.9cm and Mihaba 3.2cm, a weight of over 900. It has beautiful Nie of all size. Kinsuji and Niesuji-kakari, Jiba is so bright and full of ambition and the work is so good. Because it is Ubu-Mumei, It is believed to have been Nobunaga's prepared sword, and is a masterpiece with no noticeable scratches. Furutogi(Old sharpening).
