Osafune Sukesada was the most prosperous family of late Muromachi period smiths called Suebizen, whose first sword was seen in the late Nanbokuchou Meitoku 2nd year (1391), after which Hikobeejou, Yosaemonnojou, Genbeejou is good at work.
This sword is a beautiful figure of Katateuchi deep in Sori, Itamehada, Mixed Mokumehada, Jinie entered fine and thick, Chikei is vivid and well entered. Utsuri-gatatsu , Jigane is bright and clear, Koshinohiraita-Gunome, Choujiba, Mixed Juuka-style-Chouji, Yubashiri, Tobiyaki-shikirinikakari, There are many Ashi and You, It presents a particularly gorgeous Dekiguti in Bizenden. Small-Nie deeply, Kinsuji-shikirinikakaru, It works well in the blade, Nioikuchi is bright and clear, It is a masterpiece.Furthermore, there is no sharpening loss, and it is Kenzen that is outstanding with Jiba and Nakago.The year is Tensho 2nd on the registration certificate, and Chinese numerals are illegible on the appraisal, but it seems to be Tensho 10th.
