Omi Daijo Tadahiro, named Heisakuro Hashimoto, was born in the 19th year of the Keicho era as the son of Tadayoshi I, and succeeded to the name of Tadahiro at the age of 19 after his father died in 1632. He received the title of Omi Daijo in 1641, and continued making swords for over 60 years until his death at the age of 80 in 1693. For that reason, he left behind many works that were arranged according to the Kanei, Kanbun, and Genroku periods, but among the new sword craftsmen, he is the second most designated Juyo Token after Tadayoshi I. You can see how many famous swords there are.
This sword has a wide Mihaba and a slightly shallow Sori in the style of the Enpo era. Small-Mokume-hada-tsumi, Thick Jinie, Chikei entered finely, The so-called Konuka-hada is beautiful and clear. Gorgeous Genome-Chouji Yaki, There are many Ashi and You, Small-Nie deeply, Deep Nioi and Nioikuchi is bright and clear.
Nakago is slightly damaged, but it is gorgeously Midare, well-made, and a masterpiece of Juyo level.
