Drscription
From the end of the Kamakura period to the Nanbokuchou period, swordsmiths such as Unsyou, Unji, and Unjuu, who show a style different from the Osafune school, appeared in Bizen Ukaisou, and all of them bear the character "Un (Kumo)". Therefore, this sect is also called the Un class, and also the Ukai sect from the place where it lived.
It is said that Unsyou and Unji went to Kyoto and became the work of Emperor Go-Daigo and worked for Goyou. Unji is said to be a child of Unsyou, and there are still works with ages such as Syouwa, Bunpou, Kenmu, etc., and the age of their activity is clear. Un-type works have a strong personality among Bizen-mono at that time, and there are those that add the taste of Yamashiro's Rai school and Bichuu's Aoe school to Bisen's temperament, and those that mix Yamato's temperament.

This work is a rare Tachi with the two-character inscription of Unji and the year of Karyaku in the late Kamakura period.
