Naotane, whose name was Shoji Minobe, was born in Ushu Yamagata in the 7th year of the An'ei era and became Suishinshi Masahide. Under the name of GoTaikei, he made swords in Nihonbashi, Edo. In the ninth year of Bunka, he became a retainer of the Akimoto family, the lord of the Tatebayashi domain, together with his teacher Masahide. In the 4th year of Ansei, he died at the age of 79. He practiced his teacher Masahide's revival sword theory and was good at Bizen-den and Soshu-den, but there are many Bizen-den swords that are particularly good, and his skillfulness in Choujimidare's skill is Shinshinto's first reputation.
Naotane has always been popular and has been invited from all over the country to forge his swords, but this sword is also an Osaka-Uchi sword with the ``Naniwa'' stamp on it, and was created in 1995 when he was 60 years old.
