Uda smithing began in the late Kamakura period when the ancestral nyudo Kunimitsu moved to Ecchu from Yamato Uda with his children, Kunimune, Kunifusa and other clans, and has prospered from the Nanbokucho period to the Muromachi period. Kuninaga has been active from the early Muromachi period to Eikyo.
This sword is Mihaba wide and shallow with sori, Mokume crosses Itamehada, Jinie fine dust, vividly reflected ground iron, Gunome, Tobiyaki, Muneyaki cross, Hitatsura wind disturbed, Ashi and Ha It goes in frequently, with Konie, Kinsuji, Niesuji, Sunagashi, etc. It works well in the blade. It is a healthy masterpiece of Uda Kuninaga zaimei.
