Drscription
The Ichimonji school began around the beginning of the Kamakura period, with Norimune as the ancestor, who reportedly served as the Goban blacksmith of Go-Tobain. Following Fukuoka Ichimonji, which was prosperous in the middle of Kamakura, a group named after the place name of Yoshioka appeared in the late Kamakura period, and this is called Yoshioka Ichimonji. Sukemitsu is a representative worker.
This sword is a rare extant Nagagamakinaoshi with the place name of Bizen Yoshioka and the year of the first year of Kenmu. It is a well-made masterpiece, such as hanging from Sunagashi.
