【Drscription】
Munetsugu, a master craftsman who is a new sword master, was born in Shirakawa, Oshu in the third year of Kyowa, and his name is Koyama Soubei. He later became a Kuwana domain builder, received Bizensuke in the second year of Koka, and lived in Edo Azabu, Yotsuya, etc. and is a swordsmith.
This sword has wide Mihaba, standard Sori, Kissaki-nobigokoro and a well-proportioned shape, 3rd year of Koka(1846), made by Munetsugu at the age of 43. It is a masterpiece of Kenzen, with total Mokume-hada-tsunda Jitetsu, Gunome, Mixed Togariba and a variety of blades-maki, Kinsuji and Sunagashi entered finely, Jiba is bright and clear.
