- 来国俊は、仁治元年(1240年)生まれ、来国行の子で、年紀作は鎌倉中期弘安から鎌倉後期の元亨に渡っており、九十余歳で没したと伝える。その前期二字国俊銘は豪壮な姿態に華麗な丁子乱れを焼き、後期来国俊銘は細身の体配に、上品な直刃調の刃文を焼くものが多い。両者の作風が全く違うことから二代説も存在する。来派は、国行を始祖とする一派で、鎌倉後期頃には粟田口派に交代するように、山城を代表する刀工群となった。また、来一門は、国行を始めとして、来国俊、来国光、来国次と一門の直系がいずれも最上作となっている。この刀は、身幅広く、腰反り付く小太刀で、板目肌がよく錬れ、杢目・流れ肌交り、地沸微塵につく美しい地鉄に、丁子乱れに、互の目交り、華やかに乱れ、足・葉頻りに入り、小沸深く付き、金筋・砂流し頻りに掛り、匂口明るく冴える最高傑作である。茎には、額銘の跡があり、国構えが確認できる。Rai Kunitoshi was born in the first year of Ninji (1240) and is a child of Rai Kuniyuki.The yearly work ranges from Koan in the middle of Kamakura to Genko in the latter half of Kamakura, and it is said that he died at the age of 90.The early Niji-Kunitoshi inscription has a magnificent appearance and a splendid Chouji-midare-yaki, and the late Rai Kunitoshi inscription has a slender figure and many of them are grilled with an elegant Suguha style Hamon.There is also a second generation theory because the styles of the two are completely different.
The Rai faction is a faction that originated from Kuniyuki, and became a group of swordsmiths representing Yamashiro, as if it was replaced by the Awataguchi faction in the latter half of Kamakura.In addition, Rai Ichimon is the best work of Kuniyuki, Rai Kunimitsu, Rai Kunimitsu, and Rai Kunimitsu.
This sword is Wide Mihaba, Koshizori-tsuku-Ko-Tachi, Itamehada-nerete, Mixed Mokume and Nagarehada, Jinie entered fine and thick, Beautiful Jigane, Chouji-midare, Mixed Gunome, Gorgeous Midare, There are many Ashi and You, Deep Konie-tsuki, Kinsuji and Sunagashi-shikirinikakari, Nioikuchi is bright and clear. It is a masterpiece.There is a trace of Gakumei in Nakago, and Kunigamae can be confirmed.
