姿Shape

鎬造、庵棟、身幅尋常、反りやや浅く、中鋒延びる。Shinogidukuri, Iorimune, Standard Mihaba, Shallow Sori, Chu-Kissaki extended.

鍛Kitae

小板目肌つみ、流れ肌交じり、地沸微塵につき、鉄冴える。Small-Itamehada-tsumi, Mixed Nagarehada, Jinie fine and thick. Iron is clear.

刃文Hamon

直刃調に、のたれて、互の目交じり、湯走り・二十刃掛り、小足太くよく入り、小沸よくつき、金筋・稲妻頻りに掛り、匂深く、匂口明るく冴える。Suguha style, Notarete, Mixed Gunome, Yubashiri, Nijuuba-kakari, There are small-Ashi often, Konie entered well, Kinsuji Lightning Frequently hangs, has a deep Nioi and Nioikuchi is bright and clear .

説明Drscription

水心子正秀は、寛延三年羽州上杉領で生まれ、名を川部儀八郎といい、初め武州下原吉英に師事し宅英と銘する。安永三年山形秋元家の藩工となり、川部儀八郎正秀と改め、水心子と号した。作刀は安永から文政まで50年ほどに及び、初期の天明・寛政・享和の頃は大阪新刀を理想として助広風の濤欄乱あるいは真改風の直刃調の刃を焼き、晩年には、復古論を唱え、復古刀の実践者として、相州・備前・美濃の各伝を試みているが、初期の大阪新刀を理想として作刀したものに優作を見る。文政八年七十六歳で没。特筆されるのは、その技術を十数冊の本にして公開したことで、門弟も直胤を初めとして百余人を数える。この刀は、地沸微塵に厚くつく美しい地鉄に、　沸匂深く、金筋・稲妻頻りに掛るなど刃中の働き盛んで、地刃明るく冴えて出来が良い。Suishinshi Masahide was born in the Uesugi territory of Hashu in the third year of Kan'en, and his name is Gihachiro Kawabe.At first, he studied under Yoshihide Shimohara in Bushuu and named him Takuhide.In the third year of Anei, he became a feudal lord of the Yamagata Akimoto family, and was renamed Masahide Kawabe and named Suishinshi.The sword has been made for about 50 years from Anei to Bunsei, and in the early days of Tenmei, Kansei, and Kyowa, the blade of Sukehiro Style's Touran-midare or Shinkai-style Suguha Style was burned with Osaka Shintou as the ideal.In his later years, he advocated the theory of swords and tried each of the Sagami, Bizen, and Mino swords as a practitioner of swords. He died at the age of 76 in the 8th year of Bunsei.It is worth mentioning that the technique was published in more than a dozen books, and the disciples also count more than 100 people, including Naotane.
This sword has a beautiful Jitetsu and Jinie entered fine and thick. Deep NieNioi, Kinsuji Lightning Light Shikirini-kakaru.The work in the blade is active, and the Jiba is bright and clear.
