【Drscription】
Kazuhide, whose name was Ikeda Kiyauchi, was born as the second son of Denbei Ikeda, a blacksmith in the village of Kannonji in the Shonai domain, and in the second year of Bunka, when Suishinshi Masahide came to Shonai, he became an apprentice and mastered the art of swordsmithing. He lived and worked in Tsuruoka as a factory worker for the Shonai domain.
This sword was made by Kazuhide in the 3rd year of Bunsei, at the age of 48. It is 72.6cm and has a slightly deep Sori, It has a handsome appearance, Small-Itamehada-tsumi, Mixed Mokume, Jinie entered finely in a beautiful Jigane, Tsureta-Gunome, Mixed Choujiba, Nioikuchi is bright a masterpiece.
