- 真了は、名を土肥左衛門といい、肥前国平戸藩松浦家の刀鍛冶土肥正則の子として生まれ、延宝八年藩命により大阪の井上真改の弟子となる。天和二年に真改が急逝したため、平戸に戻り、藩工として活躍した。真了家は、新々刀期五代目まで繁栄している。この刀は、天和三年平戸に帰って直ぐの作で、身幅広く3.7cmもあり、先幅も広く、鋒延びる豪壮な脇差で、沸匂深いのたれ刃を焼き、地刃明るく冴え、真改と見紛う出来となる最高傑作である。Shinryo, whose name was Saemon Doi, was born as the son of Masanori Doi, a swordsmith of the Matsuura family of the Hirado Domain in Hizen Province. Became a disciple of Shinkai Inoue in Osaka under the order of Enpō 8th Clan.Since Shinkai died suddenly in Tenwa 2, he returned to Hirado and worked as a domain worker.The Shinryo family has prospered until the 5th generation of the Shinshintou period.
This sword was made right after returning to Hirado in Tenwa 3rd year. Mihaba is 3.7cm, Wide Sakihaba, Kissaki with a magnificent Wakizashi that extended. NieNioi deeply Notare-ba -yaki, Jiba is bright and clear.A masterpiece that can be mistaken for Shinkai.
