竪丸形　鉄磨地　地透毛彫　丸耳　

二字に銘して、赤坂風の鉄地丸形に透彫の鐔を造る。あるいは寿竹と同人か。竹中政凞（寿竹）は、江戸幕府のお抱えの研師。　祖先は尾張出身で、信長に従って代々刀の研ぎをしていた。赤坂派に鐔を学び、「寿竹」とも銘切り、試作した。Tatemarugata Tetsumigakiji Jisukashikebori Marumimi

Inscribed in two characters, Sukashibori tsuba is built in Akasaka-style Tetsuji Marugata.

With these two characters in mind, we create Akasaka-style Tetsuji Marugata and Sukashibori tsuba.

Or maybe he's a doujinshi with Chikuju. Masanao Takenaka (Kotobuki) is a sharpshooter employed by the Edo Shogunate. His ancestors were from Owari, and had been sharpening swords for generations following Nobunaga. He learned tsuba from the Akasaka school and made a prototype of it, also known as ``Juchiku''.
