丸形　鉄地　小透　真鍮　象嵌　形櫃孔

応仁鐔とは、室町時代の制作で名称のように応仁年間に初めて作られたという見地から作られた呼称である。作風は鉄地の薄手の板鐔にに真鍮で点や線の象嵌を施したもので、小透を加えることが多い。また定紋や単純な図様を据紋象嵌にする作もある。Marugata Tetsuji Kosukashi Shinchu Zougan Katahitsuana

Ounin tsuba is a name created from the standpoint that it was made for the first time in the Ounin era, just like the name, which was produced in the Muromachi period. His style is to apply Zougan of dots and lines with brass to a thin tsuba made of iron, often adding small openings. There are also works that use Suemonzougan for fixed crests and simple patterns.
