Yoshirou-style inlaid tsuba feature iron bases heavily inlaid with brass, employing openwork designs of cherry blossoms, butterflies, and mon patterns, or flat inlay of arabesque motifs. Pieces executed in this style are attributed to Yoshirou. Yoshirou is the name of a tsuba craftsman active during the Momoyama period, whose signature appears on tsuba of this style.
