Rai Kuninaga was a disciple of Rai Kunitoshi, and was active from the end of the Kamakura period to the period of the Northern and Southern Courts, but later moved from Kyoto to Nakashima in Settsu Province, so he was called Nakajima Rai.
The style resembles Rai Kunimitsu.
