Myouchin Nobuie was an armorer active during the late Muromachi period. He was the 17th head of the Myouchin family—a lineage of armorers—and is said to have originally gone by the name Iesada before changing it to Nobuie after receiving a character from the name of Takeda Harunobu. Acclaimed as the finest armorer in Japan during the late Muromachi period, he brought great renown to the Myouchin family.
