応仁鐔とは、室町時代中期応仁頃から、山城在住の鍔師が制作を開始したと言われている。作風は鉄地の薄手の板鐔にに真鍮で点や線の象嵌を施したもので、小透を加えることが多い。また定紋や単純な図様を据紋象嵌にする作もある。Marugata Tetsutsuchimeji Shinchu-Suemon-Zougan Kakumimikoniku
Ounin tsuba is a name created from the standpoint that it was made for the first time in the Ounin era, just like the name, which was produced in the Muromachi period. The style is a thin tsuba made of iron, inlaid with brass points and lines, often with small openings. In addition, there are works in which fixed patterns and simple patterns are inlaid with suemon.
