Kyosukashitsuba is a transparent tsuba produced mainly in Kyoto from the Muromachi period to the early Edo period. Using well-forged iron as the base iron, the construction is elegant and elaborate, and the patterns are also baptized expressions. The holes are vertically elongated, and the ears are often slightly thicker than the square ears, and the thickness is slightly thinner than that of other countries. The patterns are eight bridges, myoga, plums, chrysanthemums, wild geese, and cranes.
