丸形　鉄地　地透　角耳小肉　両櫃孔

京透鍔とは室町時代から江戸時代初期に京都を中心にして制作された地透鐔。鍛錬の良い鉄を地鉄に用いて、造りは優雅で巧緻、文様も洗礼された表現が見られる。櫃孔は縦長、また耳は、角耳にわずかに肉付くものが多く、厚みは他国の透鐔と比べてやや薄手。文様は八橋、茗荷、梅、菊、雁、鶴など時代の古いものには、図案的な意匠に優れたものがある。Marugata Tetsuji Jisukashi Kakumimikoniku Ryouhitsuana

Kyosukashi Tsuba is a transparent tsuba produced mainly in Kyoto from the Muromachi period to the early Edo period. The holes are vertically elongated, and the ears are often slightly thicker than the square ears, and the thickness is slightly thinner than that of other countries. The patterns are eight bridges, myoga, plums, chrysanthemums, wild geese, and cranes.
