【Drscription】
Motohira was born in the first year of Enkyou (1744) as the son of Oku motonao, and his name is Oku Kouzaemon, and he learned the technique of swordsmithing under his father. He became a Satsuma Shimadu clan builder at the age of 38 and received Yamatonokami in the first year of Kansei. He is the best of Satsuma Shinshintou along with Houkinokami Masayuki, and is praised as one of the best master craftsmen of Shinshintou. He died on July 15, 1997 at the age of 84.
