正阿弥派は、埋忠派と共に室町時代から江戸後期に至るまで繁栄した。室町・桃山時代の物を古正阿弥と称す。これに対して桃山・江戸期に下がるものを京正阿弥と称す事もある。京都を中心として、伊予、阿波、会津、秋田、庄内、江戸時代には全国に広く分布している。鍔は丸形の鍛えの良い鉄に、図案風な透や布目象嵌を施している。Tatemarugata Tetsuji Kebori Kagebori Marumimi
Syouami prospered with the Umetada faction from the Muromachi period to the late Edo period. The thing from the Muromachi / Momoyama period is called Koshouami.On the other hand, the ones that go down during the Momoyama and Edo periods are sometimes called Kyousho uami.It is widely distributed throughout the country during the Iyo, Awa, Aizu, Akita, Shonai, and Edo periods, centering on Kyoto.The tsuba is made of Marugata's Kitae's good iron with the design-like Sukashi and Nunomezougan.
