肥後鐔（ひごつば）とは現在の熊本及び八代を中心として作られた刀の鐔。
肥後鐔は地鉄の美しさと透彫と象嵌とを特色として、独自のデザインと優れた技法。
肥後金工師の代表工に、林、平田、西垣、志水がある。Higotsuba is a sword tsuba made mainly in present-day Kumamoto and Yatsushiro.
Higo tsuba is characterized by the beauty of Jigane, Sukashibori and Zougan, and has a high appreciation value due to its unique design and excellent technique.
Representative Higo metalworkers include Hayashi, Hirata, Nishigaki, and Shimizu.
