Kunishige Hasebe is a master craftsman who is said to be the son of Shintougo-Kunimitsu and is one of Masamune-Jittetsu.
The famous 'Kokuho(National Treasure) Heshikiri Hasebe' is said to have been used by Nobunaga Oda to oppress a rude Chabouzu.
There are many examples of Tanto and Wakizashi, but Tachi is rare.
This sword has wide Mihaba, Thin Kasane, Deep Sori Kunishige characteristics are clearly visible. Tsunda-Itamehada and Mokume, Mixed Small-Mokumehada, Jinie entered fine and thick, Chikei entered with clear Jigane, Hososuguha-style. Mixed Small-Midare, Yubashiri, Tobiyaki entered frequently, Deep Nie entered frequently, Kinsuji and Sunagashi-kakari, Nioikuchi is bright, a masterpiece.
