The Heianjo-style inlay tsuba is an iron plate tsuba with brass material inlaid in a picture style. Inl ater works, various Jigane such as gold, silver, Suaka, Syakudou, Yamagane, and the shapes of the Tsua became more diverse, large and small, thick and thin.
As the term "Heianjo-style Zougan-Tsuba(inlaid tsuba)" indicates, this school is believed to have been made mainly by artisans who lived in Kyoto or its suburbs.
