- 鎬造、庵棟、身幅尋常、反り深く、腰反りつき、中鋒やや延びる。Shinogidukuri, Iorimune, Standard Mihaba, Deep Sori, Koshizori-tsuki, Chu-Kissaki slightly extended.
- 鍛Kitae
- 板目肌に、杢目肌交じり、地沸微塵に厚くつき、地景頻りに入り、淡く映り立つ。Itamehada, Mixed Mokumehada, Jinie entered fine and thick, Chikei entered frequently, Faintly Utsuritatsu.
- 刃文Hamon
- 細直刃に、細かく食い違い掛り、小沸つき、匂口締りごころに明るい。Hoso-suguha, Detailed Kuichigai-kakari, Small-Nie-tsuki, Nioikuchi-shimarigokoro is bright.

- 三原派は、鎌倉末期から室町期にかけて備後国三原の地に栄えた一派で、鎌倉末期正和頃の正家を祖とすると伝え、代表工には正家・正広を始め、正光・政清・正信・政広らがいる。備後国には大和の諸大寺の荘園があったため、作風は大和物の影響が伺われる。正信は、南北朝後期から室町初期に活躍している。この刀は、杢目肌つみ、地沸微塵に厚くつき、地景頻りに入る美しい地鉄に、細直刃に、細かく食い違い掛り、小沸よくつき、締りごころの刃が明るく冴える優品である。Mihara is a sect that prospered in the land of Bingonokuni Mihara from the end of the Kamakura period to the Muromachi period. There are Masahiro and Masaie, Masamitsu, Masakiyo, Masanobu, Masahiro others.Since there was a manor of various Daiji temples in Yamato in Bingonokuni, the style is influenced by Yamatomono. Masanobu is active from the late Nanbokuchou to the early Muromachi period.
