Shinshintou Joujousaku, a master craftsman, was born in Shirakawa, Oshu in the third year of Kyowa.His name is Soubee Koyama, and he became the brother of Tsunatoshi Kato.Became Tsunahide-mon, the older brother of Tsunatoshi Kato.After becoming a Kuwana domain builder, he received Bizensuke in the second year of Koka, and lived in Edo Azabu, Yotsuya, etc. and is a swordsmith.
This sword was made in 1870 when Munetsugu was 67 years old, in Tokyo, and was presented to Iwasaki Yataro, the founder of Mitsubishi, as a reward for his efforts in the Boshin War.
