- 平造、庵棟、身幅尋常、重ね厚く、内反り。Hiradukuri, Iorimune, Standard Mihaba, Thick Kasane, Uchizori.

- 板目肌に、杢目肌・流れ肌交じり、地沸微塵につき、地景良く入り、映りたつ。Itamehada, Mokumehada, Mixed Nagarehada, Jinie entered fine, Chikei entered frequently, Utsuritatsu.

- 直刃調に、小互の目交じり、足・葉よく入り、湯走り。飛び焼き・二十刃頻りに掛り、小沸つき、金筋幾重にも頻りに掛り、匂口明るい。Suguha-style, Mixed Small-Gunome, There are Ashi and You frequently, Yubashiri, Tobiyaki and Nijuba entered frqeuently, Small-Nie-tsuki, Kinsuji entered over and over, Nioikuchi is bright.

- 長船清光銘の始めは、鎌倉末期正和頃といい、室町末期まで代の継承が見られる。末備前中で、清光は直刃を得意として多くの作品を残しているが、中でも五郎左衛門尉清光と孫右衛門尉清光は上工として知られる。天文は、五郎左衛門尉が活躍した時期となる。この刀は、身幅尋常、重ね厚く、内反りの端正な姿の短刀で、板目肌つみ、杢目肌交じり、刃寄り流れて、地景頻りに入る地鉄に、映り立ち、湯走り・飛び焼き・二十刃頻りに掛り、頻りに金筋幾重にも掛るなど刃中の働き盛んで、匂口明るく、清光得意の直刃出来の傑作である。Osafune Kiyomitsu's signature is said to have started in the late Kamakura period, around the time of Masakazu, and can be seen to be passed down through generations until the late Muromachi period.Among Sue Bizen, Kiyomitsu is good at Suguha and has left many works.Among them, Gorozaemonjyo Kiyomitsu and his Magouemonjyou Kiyomitsu are known as excellent swordsmith. Tenbun was the period when Gorozaemon-no-jo was active.
