The Mihara school was a school that flourished in the Mihara region of Bingo Province from the late Kamakura period to the Muromachi period, and is said to have originated with Masaie, who lived around the Shouwa era of the late Kamakura period.
Because Bingo Province had manors belonging to the great temples of Yamato Province, the Mihara school shows influences from Yamatomono.
