Uta Blacksmith began in the late Kamakura period when his ancestor Ko-nyu-dou Kunimitsu moved to Echichu from Yamato Uda with his children, Kunimune, Kunifusa and other families, and has prospered from the Nanbokuchou period to the Muromachi period.
Among them, the works up to the Nanbokucho period are called Kouda, but in the Nanbokucho period, Soshuden was added.
This sword has wide Mihaba, Wide Sakihaba, Nagamaki-Naoshi, where Kissaki extends greatly, Itamehada, Mixed Mokume well, Mixed Oh-hada, Jinie entered fine and thick, Iron is blackish, Utsuritatsu Jigane, Gunome, Small-Gunome, Mixed small-Chouji, Yubashiri, Tobiyaki-shikirini-kakari, Small-Nie-tsuki, Kinsuji and Sunagashi hangs several times over and over. The blade works well and is rich in variety.　Although the Hada is a little rough due to age, it is a well-made sword.
