園（薗）部派初代の園部芳継（1775－1842）は江戸時代後期の江戸金工で、後藤系の田中芳章に学び、技量高く後に養子となる。文化10年には旧姓に復して独立。園（薗）部派を興した。Syakudounanakoji SukidashiTakabori Kingin(Gold and silver) Iroe
Sonobe Yoshitsugu (1775-1842), the founder of the Sonobe school, was an Edo metalworker in the late Edo period who studied under Tanaka Yoshiaki of the Goto lineage and was later adopted by him due to his excellent skills.
In 1813(10th Bunka period), he resumed his maiden name and became independent. He founded the Sonobe school.
