Morishige was the son of the Hatakeda no Moriie, became Nagamitsu's son-in-law, and was a swordsmith at Osafune. Motoshige's father. His style is similar to Sanenaga and Kagemitsu.
This sword is polished to a little less than two inches, but it has Wide Mihaba, Deep Sori, Koshizori-tsuku good looks Tachi, and Nerete vividly Midare-Utsuritatsu clear Jigane, Upper half is Chouji-Midare and Jukafu-chouji and Mixed Gunome, There are many Ashi and You gorgeously entered. the lower half is Suguha-style and there are many Ashi and You, Nioikuchi is bright and clear.
It is a Kenzen masterpiece that is a representative work of the rare surviving Morishige signature(Zaimei).
