Katsumitsu had several swordsmiths with the same name, but the most skilled swordsmiths were UkyoRyo Katsumitsu and his son Jirozaemonnojo Katsumitsu.Jirozaemonnojo Katsumitsu is the son of Ukyoryo Katsumitsu, and was active from Chokyo to Bunmei.　There are many swords made in collaboration with Sakyounoshin Munemitsu and Yosazaemonnojo Sukesada, and many of them have been designated as Juyo Bunkazai, Juyo Bijutsuhin , Juyo Token.
This sword does not have a common name, but it was created by Katsumitsu Ukyonosuke in the 18th year of Bunmei. In the form of Katateuchi, Midareusuritatsu Jigane, Small-Ashi and You entered well, Suguha-style-yaki with Mixed Small-Gunome, Kinsuji and Sunagashi entered, making it work well, Nioikuchi is bright.
