Drscription
Sanjo Yoshinori was first mentioned in the late Heian period around Genryaku, later in the Kamakura period around Ocho, and in the early Nanbokucho period around Kenmu. He is the founder and representative worker of the school (Gosanjo school). The school prospered until the mid-Muromachi period, but the first generation Yoshinori is rare, and the one that can be seen generally is Yoshinori in the Bunmei era.
This Tanto dated to the 22nd year alf the Ouei period and singed by the first Yoshinori. It has a slender shape, Small-Gunome-tsure, There are Ashi and You frequently, Small-Nie-tsuki, Kinsuji-kakari, Nioikuchi is bright, an excellent sword.
