Examples of Osafune Tadamitsu can be seen from the end of the Kamakura period, and it is one of the representative works of Bizen Osafune from the end of the Muromachi period, and among them, the first Hikobee Tadamitsu and Syurinosuke Tadamitsu are among the best.
This sword is a small Moroha-Tanto, Utsuritatsu with beautiful Jigane, Chouji-Midare, Yubashiri, Tobiyaki, Kinsuji and Sunagashi-shikirinikakari, Nioikuchi is bright and clear. It is a masterpiece by Hikobeinojo Tadamitsu and is dated the second year of the Meio period.
