- 古備前派は、平安中期に興った備前国の刀工一派で、吉井川流域の良質な砂鉄を原料として、数々の名刀を鍛刀している。代表工には、友成、正恒、信房、包平、吉包、助包などがいる。本作は、身幅広く、反り深く、腰反り高く、先細く小鋒となる時代の上がる太刀姿で、乱れ映りが鮮やかに立つ地鉄に、直刃調、小乱れ・小丁子交じり、湯走り掛り、足・葉頻りに入り、沸深くつき、金筋砂流し掛り、匂口明るく、古雅で風格のある名品であるThe Ko-Bizen school is a school of swordsmiths from Bizen Province that emerged in the mid-Heian period. They have forged many famous swords using high-quality iron sand from the Yoshii River basin. Representative craftsmen include Tomonari, Masatsune, Nobufusa, Kanehira, Yoshikane, Sukekane, and others.
This sword has wide Mihaba, Deep Sori, High Koshizori, Narrow Tip and An older tachi form with a Small-Kissaki. Midare-Utsuri with vividly Jigane. Suguha-style, Small-Midare, Mixed Small-Chouji, Yubashiri-kakari, There are Ashi and You frequently, Deep Nie-tsuki, Kinsuji and Sunagashi-kakari, Nioikuchi is bright. It is an elegant and stately masterpiece.
