Tsunahiro is an excellent swordsmith towards the end of Sousyu Kaji in the late Muromachi period, and the oldest one is from the Tenmon period. The first Tsunahiro, also known as the child of Shimada Yoshisuke, was invited by Houjou Ujitsuna to move to Sagaminokni Odawara, where he was given the letter "Tsuna" and named himself Tsunahiro. The third generation Tsunahiro, whose given name was Yamamura Souemon, lived in Ougigayatsu, Kamakura. He began forging swords around the Bunroku era and is famous for having forged 300 swords in Hirosaki at the invitation of Tsugaru Tamenobu. He died in the 15th year of the Kanei era.
